S’cuse me, pardon me, why the f*ck can’t I walk down the street on the east side of Park Blvd in Massapequa Park? Because breakfast is served, there’s a wait to get in, and Jam is jamming. Having just passed the four-year mark, Jam continues to run the breakfast game with its house-cured bacon, homemade jams and trademark Eggs Benedict selections. Pearl Sugar Waffles and Cookie Dough Pancakes are often singled out as customer favorites. Lunchtime features include the Battered Monte Cristo and the Lemon Tarragon Chicken Salad.
Wait times have been greatly reduced after Jam took over the space next door and added an additional thirty seats. Cozy and comfortable, Jam remains on the short list for most people I know that regularly do breakfast on the Island.
